Suspected bandits reportedly attacked the Agudu, Bassa community in the Koton Karfe Local Government Area of Kogi state.
The incident/attack which took place on Wednesday, lasted for almost six hours of operation by the suspected bandits.
14 persons were reportedly killed in the attack, 13 from a family, while six others were injured.
According to an anonymous eye witness and community resident, the bandits stormed the community on several motorbikes and fully armed with weapons.
However, the injured ones have been moved to the hospital for proper medical treatment.
