The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has declared a 46-year-old Nigerian "scammer" wanted after allegedly duping the Nigerian Army to a whooping tune of over $394million (N152,315,803,981), €9.9million (N4,539,509,271), and N369million arms deal.
The 46-year-old Nigerian and military contractor identified as Aboubakar Hima, allegedly scammed the Nigerian military to the over N157billion supply of military wares.
According to the Nigeria's anti-graft agency, Aboubakar Hima is declared wanted in cases of misappropriation of public funds, money laundering, fraud, and criminal conspiracy contract scam.
A statement released from EFCC's spokesman, Tony Orilade, reads;
“The suspect, who is the Chief Executive Officer of Societe D’Equipment Internationaux, SEI, is alleged to have received the sums for the purchase of equipment for the Nigerian Military. However, investigations have revealed discrepancies in the supply of the equipment.
“Having failed to honour invitations from the Commission, Hima is currently evading investigation, thus the need to declare him wanted.”
