Irish billionaire, Chuck Feeney, became officially broke after giving out his entire fortune worth $8billion (N3trillion) to universities, organisations, and charities worldwide through his philanthropic foundation, The Atlantic Philanthropies.

89-year-old Feeney achieved his billionaire status after co-founding airport retailer "Duty Free Shoppers".
The business tycoon is widely known for his act of giving as he strongly believe in it.
His "Giving While Living" idea encourages philanthropists to spend all their money during their lifetime so as to have better control over its use.
During a media interview, the "former" billionaire noted that he has learnt a lot along his existence journey and that the idea of "why not give it all" (wealth) away has become appealing to him.
According to Feeney, he wanted to achieve his dreams under his watch, while he is still alive.
He also estimatedly left about $2million (N767million) for his and wife's retirement but gave out all his anonymously.
He currently lives in an apartment in San Francisco.
