Trial of Instagram socialite and alleged fraudster, Ramoni Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi, has been reportedly adjourned to 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
This was contained in chambers orders of Judge Otis Wright, as Hushpuppi's trial will now resume by 9:00am, 4th of May, 2021.
Recall to the previous month, new evidences had been submitted against the Dubai based alleged cyber "fraud-lord".
Hushpuppi faces four counts of conspiracy to commit wire fraud, international money laundering, money laundering conspiracies, and engaging in illegal and fraud monetary transactions.
The fraudster along with his partner, Woodberry, and others, was arrested months ago and taken to the United States for prosecution of their alleged serial cyber crimes.
