12-years-old Blessing Ineh, has survived from being slaughtered by suspected ‘Yahoo boys’ after being rescued alive inside a soak-away pit.
The young girl had been declared missing in Abraka, Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta state, before she was luckily found and rescued from the ‘hands of death’.
She was last seen on New Year Day after being sent on errand by her parents.
She was reportedly found inside a soakaway located behind her family house on Tuesday, January 5, after another child heard her whimpering and raised an alarm.
The three men who abducted her allegedly stabbed her on the back and slit her throat before she was dumped in the soakaway to die.
Her body was found covered in white chalk which seems obvious that it was a case of attempted ritual murder by suspected internet fraudsters also popularly known as “Yahoo boys”.
While she is currently receiving medical treatment in a yet-undisclosed hospital, she revealed that their neighbor simply identified as “General” was one of the men behind the dastardly and nefarious act.
According to Blessing, ‘General’ was the one who lured and whisked her away in a car after which she was dumped inside the soakaway to die with the help of the other accomplices.
Meanwhile, the prime suspect, General, is nowhere to be found since the day Blessing went missing.
