A Nigerian bride has gone viral on social media after receiving a wrapped cutlass from a guest as a gift during her wedding ceremony.
According to the sister of the bride who shared the story on Twitter, the yet-to-be identified guest wrapped a cutlass and presented it to her sister who was the bride.
After unwrapping the gift, it was discovered it contained a cutlass.
Reacting furiously to the incident, the sister of the bride wrote;
“Why would someone give my sister a wrapped cutlass as wedding gift?."
While some other Twitter users advised the couple to dispose the cutlass, others also advised the family to resort to prayers.
