The Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has on Thursday, June 3, announced the increasement of the monthly allowance of corp members serving in the state from N5,000 to N15,000.
This was announced by the Governor during a visit to the NYSC camp in Iseyin, Oyo state, shortly after commissioning the Moniya-Ijaye-Iseyin road.
The good development resulted to wide jubilations and uproar from corp members as they could not hide their elated moods.
Payment of the new increased NYSC Oyo state allowance is to commence this month (June) or latest July.
