Nigerian king, Oba (Dr.) Abdulrasheed Adewale Akanbi "Oluwo of Iwoland", of Osun state, is set to distribute free pepper sprays to females in the community on the 15th of June, 2020. This is to help the weaker sex fight against any sexual assault from their opposite sex, following the recent and incessant rape cases in the country.
With the aim of protecting the dignity of ladies, the monarch thought it as necessary by providing the pepper spray which will serve as defence item against rapists.
Interested females across the community who are willing to get the item are expected to converge at the monarch's palace on the said day. Also, there will be a training and enlightenment on its usage and protection against rapists.
