The organizers of Big Brother Naija, MultiChoice Nigeria, has disclosed that no fewer than 30,000 Nigerian youths applied for the Fifth Edition (S5) of the BBNaija, scheduled to kick-start this month (July).
While mute on the number of housemates that will scale through the BBNaija house in 2020, it hinted that those who made the final cut are currently in quarantine so as not to be exposed to the deadly virus (COVID-19).
Meanwhile, MultiChoice Nigeria Chief Customer Officer, Martin Mabutho, has also revealed that the BBNaija monetary prize in this current forthcoming edition (S5) will be the highest ever in the history of the show.
Recall that the Fourth Edition (S4) in 2019 featured a total of 26 participants including Frodd, Gedoni, Mercy, Mike, Omashola, Seyi, Tacha, and others.
Mercy Eke had went home as the winner of last year edition with a monetary prize worth over N30m.
