Borno State Governor, Babagana Umaru Zulum, has asked the Nigeria Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, to deploy the controversial dissolved officers of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) to Borno state to help fight the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
The call was made by the Governor while receiving Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbosola, with a led delegates to a visit to the state.
According to Zulum, SARS had made remarkable achievements in the fight against the dreaded Boko Haram sect in the state.
This is coming after the recent heights in protest calling for the Nigeria Police reform and the scrapping of SARS unit of the police.
