A lot of donations have been coming in from Nigerians on social media to cater for the feeding and other expenses of the #EndSARS protesters.
The protest which calls for the scrapping of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS) of the Nigerian Police, had started since Wednesday, October 7, 2020, mainly in Lagos state.
Meanwhile, the police authorities had said that SARS will not be scrapped despite being known for its various arbitrary arrests and human rights violation.
However, following an assistance and help call from a Twitter user identified as fkabudu, Nigerians have raised N788,000 to buy nose masks, first aid kits, food and other needed items for the protesters mainly in Lagos.
